-1 Sweater or Coat
-1 Complete change of outer clothing
-2 Changes of underwear
-2 pairs of socks
-Low-heeled shoes
-Raincoat
-Baby clothing and supplies as necessary
-Blanket
-Cake of soap
-Towel
-Toothbrush
-Tube or can of toothpaste
-Roll of toilet tissue
-Sanitary napkins

The following items are suggested as advisable items to have available within each family group:

-Flashlight with extra batteries
-Utility penknife (combination)
-Can opener
-Sewing kit
-Windproof lighter with fluid
-Plastic eating utensils
-Cigarettes (if required)
-First aid kit, including gauze, bandage, scissors, cotton, compresses, safety pins, band aids, methylate or iodine, swabs or Q-tips, burn ointment and vaseline Required medicines and prescriptions.
-Extra glasses if needed (enter prescription on immunization record.)
